Looking to buy?

Q3 is done and dusted. Lewis and Carl Allsopp sat down to go through Allsopp & Allsopp’s latest quarterly figures, and some of the numbers surprised even them. So much so that at one point the question came up: will people even believe us?

From record rental deals to a sharp slowdown in off-plan launches, here is a look at what was covered. For the full breakdown and their predictions for Q4, [watch the episode.]()

## The Shift Between Off-Plan and Ready Property
The market has changed significantly over the last few months, and it is not affecting everyone equally. Brokerages built almost entirely on off-plan are feeling the pressure, and many are now trying to break into the secondary market, which is a very different game.

Ready property tells a different story. People still change jobs, start families and need more space, and that cycle keeps the market moving whatever the wider conditions. Hear why the pair believe ready homes are proving so resilient.

## Why Off-Plan Launches Have Slowed
Since early August, there have been an estimated 15 to 18 new off-plan launches in Dubai. Compared with the pace earlier in the year, that is a reduction of around 75%.

So what is behind it? Buyer sentiment is only part of the picture. The pair explain the factors they believe are causing developers to pause, and why the worst thing a developer can do right now is launch and not sell out.

## The Payment Plan That Is Still Selling
Some developers are still selling well, and the common thread is the payment plan. The pair discuss the structure that is enticing buyers in today’s climate, why many current plans are not, and the advice they would give anyone weighing up an off-plan purchase right now.

There is also a frank conversation about buying off-plan on hope rather than a plan, and the role social media has played in that.

## Big-Ticket Deals Are Back
Last week, Allsopp & Allsopp sold a AED 66 million villa on Palm Jumeirah. After several quiet months for high-value transactions across the industry, larger deals have returned since June and July.

Why are buyers committing to significant purchases during a period of regional uncertainty? The answer may change how you approach your next offer.

## Our Q3 Sales Data
The headline figures are strong. Our average sales price rose 14% quarter on quarter, with every month of the quarter recording double-digit growth in both value and volume. Transaction volume in Jumeirah Golf Estates, one of our key communities, rose 30% compared with Q2, while secondary volume across the wider market increased by 15%.

The pair also tackle the question every brokerage faces: do agents talk the market up? Their answer, and why they believe both buyers and sellers can rely on what they share, is worth hearing in full.

## Why Handover Delays Could Push Prices Up
Both Lewis and Carl have recently received handover delay notices on their own investments, some of them for 12 months. With around 460,000 units under construction, and only a small share of them villas and townhouses, the timing of handovers matters.

Their view on what delays mean for prices is clear, and they explain exactly why in the episode.

## A Very Busy Rentals Market
Rentals are one of the stories of the quarter. According to the Dubai Land Department, new lease contracts rose 61%. Within our own business, average letting prices rose 4% quarter on quarter.

The team also closed some remarkable deals, including a record AED 1.6 million annual rental in The Meadows and a Jumeirah Golf Estates villa let for AED 2.4 million a year.

Have rents softened? Where is there room to negotiate, and where is there not? The pair share what they are seeing deal by deal, along with a few lessons learned as landlords themselves.

## Why Property Management Matters
Who takes the call when the cooker breaks, a cheque bounces or a tenant is locked out late at night? The pair explain why good property management is some of the best money a landlord can spend, and how it can help retain tenants. One of them also reveals just how many unread WhatsApp messages they have, which makes the case on its own.

## Commercial and Off-Plan Outlook
Commercial property has been one of the slower areas this year, and the pair explain why businesses are hesitant to commit to long leases and costly fit-outs right now. On off-plan, there is a growing spotlight on Abu Dhabi, and a clear view on what Dubai developers need to do to get back in the game.

## Predictions for Q4 2026
Q4 is traditionally the busiest quarter in Dubai real estate. The pair give their predictions for secondary sales, rentals, commercial and off-plan between now and the end of the year, including a specific monthly forecast for sales volumes.

Dubai Property in Q3 2026: What Our Data Really Shows

Ten questions, two founders and no holding back. On the final day of Q3 2026, Lewis and Carl Allsopp sat down with a stack of question cards covering where to invest AED 10 million, the areas they are watching and the worst property decisions they have ever made. Then they turned to the stories everyone in Dubai is talking about this week.

Here is a taste of what is in store. For the answers, you will need to watch the episode.

## Where Would You Invest AED 10 Million Today?
It is the question every investor wants answered, and there was no hesitation. The pick is a community described as an untapped gem, one that is quietly winning over buyers as more of it is delivered, along with a very specific recommendation on exactly what type of property to buy with that budget.

Is it the community you would expect? Watch to find out.

## The Area With "Astronomical" Growth Potential
There is one up and coming area on their radar with the potential for astronomical growth. To make the case, the conversation goes back to the early days of some of Dubai's most established addresses, when buyers questioned whether anyone would ever want to live there.
Those early buyers were rewarded. The pair believe history is about to repeat itself, and they explain exactly why.

## The Communities Set to Outperform Over Five Years
Which communities will see the strongest growth over the next five years? Lewis and Carl have a clear view on the type of community that will lead the way, and the reasoning may change how you think about your next purchase.

There is also a prediction that should give some of Dubai's older communities pause for thought. Hear it in the full episode.

## The Biggest Mistakes Sellers Make
If you are thinking of selling, this section is essential viewing. The pair name the mistakes they see time and again, and they are easier to make than you might think.

One point most sellers overlook comes down to timing, and it could be the difference between achieving the best price and spending months chasing the market.

## Bubble or Boom?
Is Dubai's recent growth a bubble waiting to burst, or a boom with staying power? The answer may surprise you.

It did not go unchallenged. With interest rates likely to rise and tens of thousands of units due for handover this year, the question was pressed on why prices would grow at all. The response, along with a revealing insight into what is happening behind the scenes on construction timelines, makes this one of the strongest moments of the episode.

## The Hidden Cost of Oil Prices
With oil above $100 a barrel, does it really affect everyday residents looking to buy a home? Lewis and Carl have tackled this question in previous episodes, but this time the conversation takes a different turn.

The final cards produced some of the most candid answers of the episode. The pair name the most overhyped trend in Dubai real estate right now, reveal the communities they would never buy in personally, settle the Dubai Marina versus JBR debate in four words, and open up about the worst property decisions they have ever made.

These answers are best heard in their own words.

## What to Expect in Q4 2026
Over 18 years in business, Q4 has consistently been the busiest quarter of the year. So what are Lewis and Carl seeing on the ground right now, and what does it tell us about the months ahead?

They also share an early trend emerging in the rental market heading into 2027, and why some brokerages may find the coming months tougher than others.

Bubble or Boom? Lewis and Carl Allsopp on Where Dubai Property Goes Next

What does luxury actually mean?

It is a word used constantly across property, interiors, hospitality and lifestyle, but for Noor Charchafchi, Director of Celine Interior Design, its meaning has become increasingly difficult to define.

In the latest episode of Taking Care Of Business, Lewis Allsopp sits down with Noor to explore what really goes into designing some of the world's most exclusive spaces, from the difference between a beautiful concept and a finished project to what UHNW clients are actually paying for.

## From A Living Room To Global Projects
Celine Interior Design started in Noor's living room, following a project that led her to establish her own business.

What began with a small joinery unit and eight desks has grown into an international interior design business, with projects spanning residential, hospitality and government work across Europe, the Middle East and beyond.

During the conversation, Noor talks openly about that journey, building a business from scratch and how her approach has shaped Celine into the company it is today.

## When Great Design Has To Become Reality
For Noor, interior design is about far more than creating an impressive visual.

One of the key themes throughout the episode is the importance of execution. Celine is involved in the technical side of its projects, producing detailed drawing packs and working closely with project managers, contractors, engineers and other specialists to make sure the original design can actually be delivered.

It is a distinction that Noor believes is often overlooked, particularly when a project looks perfect on screen but becomes very different once construction begins.

## What Are You Really Paying For?
The conversation then turns to one of the biggest questions of the episode: what does luxury actually mean?

Noor explains why she believes expensive materials and recognisable labels are only a small part of the picture. For her, the real value comes from the thought, creativity and foresight behind a space.

It could be something as simple as changing the position of a table to completely alter how people interact in a room. The detail may be small, but the impact can be significant.

That idea runs throughout the conversation: true luxury is personal.

## AI, Authenticity And The Future Of Design
Lewis and Noor also discuss the changing role of AI in interior design, and where technology can genuinely add value.

AI can help generate ideas and visualise possibilities, but Noor explains why it cannot replace the experience and technical understanding required to take an idea from an image to a finished space.

The pair also touch on social media, authenticity and the pressure to present an increasingly polished version of success, discussing why people are often more interested in seeing the person behind the business than another perfectly curated success story.

## Celine Interior Design in Dubai
Celine recently opened its global office in Dubai, marking another step in the company's international expansion.

With Noor's experience across some of the world's most prestigious residential and hospitality projects, the move brings an established international design business into one of the world's most active luxury property markets.

For anyone working across Dubai's prime and ultra-prime property market, the conversation offers an interesting look at what happens beyond the architecture and interiors we see in finished homes.

There is plenty more to the conversation, from building a reputation in an industry where clients are trusting you with significant projects, to the meaning of class, business confidence and what it takes to create spaces that genuinely improve the way people live.

What Does Luxury Actually Mean? | Noor Charchafchi, Celine Interior Design

The latest episode of Taking Care of Business sees Chairman, Carl Allsopp and CEO, Lewis Allsopp return to the headlines, looking beyond the news itself to discuss what the latest developments could mean for businesses, investors and the wider market.

Rather than simply running through the headlines, Lewis and Carl discuss the stories behind them, challenge assumptions and share their perspectives from years spent building a business in Dubai.

## The Latest Business News, Discussed From The Ground Up
Each episode of Taking Care of Business brings together the latest stories making an impact across business, economics and real estate, with Lewis and Carl considering how they translate into the realities of running a business.

This latest episode continues that format, with the conversation moving across the week's key headlines and the wider themes sitting behind them.
For anyone following Dubai real estate, business and the UAE economy, understanding the wider environment is increasingly important. Changes in the economy, government policy, investment and international markets can all have a knock-on effect on property, businesses and consumer confidence.

## Looking Beyond The Headlines
One of the strengths of Taking Care of Business is its focus on the bigger picture.

This week, Lewis and Carl discuss the progress of Palm Jebel Ali, following news that the first villas could be handed over ahead of schedule. They look at what an earlier handover could mean for investors, as well as the longer-term development of one of Dubai's biggest masterplans.

They also discuss the latest US interest rate decision and what higher borrowing costs could mean for mortgage affordability and the Dubai property market. The conversation moves into Dubai's changing supply and demand picture, including population growth, upcoming property handovers and the potential impact of fewer new launches.

The pair also look at the growing attention around Abu Dhabi real estate, discussing the city's recent development launches, payment plans and increasing appeal to investors. They consider how Abu Dhabi's investment landscape differs from Dubai and whether the UAE's two major cities could see greater movement between them in the years ahead.

## Business, Markets and Dubai Real Estate
The conversation also looks beyond Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with Lewis and Carl discussing the potential of Oman real estate and the upcoming UAE-Oman rail connection. Infrastructure, accessibility and the way people choose where to live all feed into a wider discussion around how the UAE and surrounding markets could evolve.

Another topic is the changing definition of luxury property. Lewis questions whether developers could be missing an opportunity by focusing on maximising the number of homes rather than offering larger plots and gardens, particularly as buyers increasingly look for lifestyle as well as the property itself.

As the conversation turns towards Q4 in Dubai real estate, Lewis also shares where he would be looking as an investor, pointing to payment plans, lagoon communities and emerging areas where he sees value. Damac Lagoons, Dubai South and other developing communities all feature in the discussion.

For Lewis and Carl, the relationship between business and real estate is particularly relevant. Allsopp & Allsopp has operated in Dubai for more than 18 years, giving the pair a long-term perspective on how the city, its economy and its property market have evolved.

That experience is reflected throughout Taking Care of Business, where current news is considered alongside the longer-term trends shaping Dubai.

## Watch the Latest Episode of Taking Care of Business

In The News With Taking Care of Business: Lewis and Carl Allsopp on the Headlines Shaping Business

What is really happening across Dubai and Abu Dhabi's property markets?

In the latest episode of our podcast, Lewis Allsopp, Chairman of Allsopp & Allsopp, and Marc Walters, Managing Director, sit down for a wide-ranging conversation about some of the biggest talking points in the UAE property market right now.

From the growing attention on Abu Dhabi to developer payment plans, infrastructure, handovers and the arrival of international agencies, the conversation covers plenty of ground. It is an informal look at the market from two people who have spent years working in Dubai real estate.

## Abu Dhabi's Property Market: Is the Hype Justified?
Abu Dhabi has been attracting increasing attention from buyers and investors, with developments across areas such as Hudayriyat and Modon generating significant interest.

Lewis and Marc discuss what is behind the current momentum and whether it is being driven by attractive payment plans, beachfront locations, investment opportunities or genuine end-user demand.

They also look at the growing volume of new residential stock entering the market and how Abu Dhabi's development compares with other major global cities.

## Developer Finance and Off-Plan Payment Plans
One of the biggest talking points is the way buyers are financing off-plan property.

Lewis and Marc discuss developer-backed finance, including schemes offering financing of up to 75%, and what these types of payment structures could mean for buyers and investors.

The conversation also touches on the wider economic picture and whether developers offering more flexible finance could be responding to changing market conditions.

For anyone considering an off-plan purchase, understanding the payment structure can be just as important as understanding the property itself.

## What's Happening With Dubai Property Prices?
The conversation then turns back to Dubai and the market's next stage.

With a significant amount of property due to be handed over, Lewis and Marc discuss what this could mean for supply, pricing and buyer behaviour. They also consider the impact of rising construction costs and whether delays could affect the delivery of some developments.

While short-term movements are always part of a property market, the discussion focuses on the underlying demand that continues to support Dubai's residential market.

## Why Infrastructure Matters to Dubai Property
Dubai's continued growth is closely linked to its infrastructure.

New roads, transport links and wider infrastructure projects can have a significant impact on how people move around the city and, in turn, how different residential communities develop.

Lewis and Marc discuss some of the infrastructure changes taking place across Dubai and why connectivity will remain an important consideration for both residents and property investors as the city continues to grow.

## International Agencies Entering the UAE Market
The UAE property market is also attracting more international names, with global agencies looking to establish a presence in the region.

Lewis and Marc discuss the arrival of players such as Oppenheim Group and the challenges that come with entering a market as distinctive as Dubai.

Having a successful model in another country does not necessarily mean it can simply be replicated in Dubai. Understanding the local market, regulations, buyers and way of doing business is crucial.

## Watch the Latest Episode
The latest episode offers a candid conversation about some of the biggest topics currently being discussed across the UAE property market.

Whether you're considering buying, selling or investing in Dubai, already working in the industry, or simply want to understand where the market is heading, hear Lewis and Marc share their views on the latest developments.

What Nobody Tells You About Off-Plan and Developer Finance

Eighteen years of building a business in Dubai comes with more than its fair share of highs, lows, unexpected turns and lessons learned along the way.

In the latest episode of Taking Care of Business, Carl and Lewis Allsopp sit down to look back at the journey that took Allsopp & Allsopp from its early days in a Jumeirah villa to the business it is today.

It is a conversation about the moments that shaped the company, the challenges that tested it and the decisions that changed the course of the business.

They go back to the beginning, remembering what it was like to start a real estate company with very little more than an idea, a single furnished room and plenty of belief that it would work. They talk openly about the early years, including the realities of building a name in a competitive Dubai market and the lessons that came with getting things wrong as well as getting them right.

They also revisit one of the toughest periods in the company's history: the global financial crisis. With the market under enormous pressure and no external funding to fall back on, keeping the business going required some difficult decisions and a fair amount of creativity. Looking back now, those years offer a very different perspective on what it takes to build a business that lasts.

From there, the conversation moves through the years of growth, including some of the milestones that showed the business was becoming a serious force in Dubai real estate. They recall record months, industry awards and the competitive spirit that has always been part of Allsopp & Allsopp, both inside and outside the office.

There are plenty of lighter moments too, including Carl's story about an award announcement that came slightly earlier than planned, alongside the more serious lessons that came from navigating a rapidly changing industry.

The brothers also reflect on 2020 and the impact of the pandemic, from the uncertainty that came with it to the way the team adapted. For a business built around people, relationships and face-to-face interaction, it was a period that forced everyone to reconsider how real estate could work.

And, as you would expect, the conversation does not stay in the past for long.

Carl and Lewis look at where the industry is heading now, from the growing role of technology and AI to the changing role of the real estate agent. They discuss what they believe the next generation of the industry could look like, and why technology should enhance the people behind the business rather than replace them.
After 18 years, there is plenty to reflect on, but the conversation is ultimately about what comes next.

Taking Care of Business: 18 Years of Allsopp & Allsopp

What does it really take to build a successful career in Dubai real estate?

For Clementine Munro, it comes down to resilience, authenticity and a willingness to keep evolving.

In the latest episode of Keys to the City, Kameron Hutchinson sits down with Clementine to explore her journey from a younger intern in Dubai to becoming a Private Office advisor, as well as the renovation projects and opportunities that have shaped her career along the way.

## From Intern to Private Office
Clementine's route into Dubai real estate wasn't exactly straightforward. What started with a move to Dubai soon turned into a career defined by change, challenges and plenty of unexpected turns.

Redundancies and uncertainty could have derailed her, but instead, they pushed her to keep going.

Today, Clementine works within Allsopp & Allsopp Private Office, advising clients at the higher end of Dubai's property market.

Her journey is a reminder that there isn't always a straight line between where you start and where you end up.

## The Reality Behind the Success
While real estate can look glamorous from the outside, Clementine believes lasting success comes down to the fundamentals: loving what you do, working hard and being someone people can trust.

She also talks about authenticity in an industry increasingly shaped by social media, where it can be tempting to focus on appearances rather than substance.

For Clementine, reputation is built through genuine relationships, market knowledge and consistently delivering for clients.

## More Than Just Buying and Selling
Clementine's experience goes beyond traditional property transactions.

She also takes on renovation projects, giving her a different perspective on property and the opportunities that can come with transforming a home.

From identifying the right property to understanding its potential, renovations have become another part of how she approaches real estate.

## Why Joining a Bigger Real Estate Brokerage Matters
Dubai real estate has become more accessible than ever, with information and market data available to almost everyone.
But Clementine believes access to information isn't the same as having experience.

For those starting out, she highlights the value of joining an established agency with strong training, support and people who understand the market from the ground up.

## A Career That Keeps Evolving
Clementine also shares how she balances career ambitions, family life and her own property projects, while continuing to look ahead to what's next.
For her, careers don't follow a straight line. Opportunities change, goals evolve and there is always another challenge to take on.

From starting out as an intern to working with Private Office clients and taking on renovation projects of her own, Clementine's career is a reflection of that mindset.

How She Turned Real Estate Into Real Wealth

Is the market really turning?

In our latest market update, Paul Kelly, Operations Director, and Daniel Moloney, Revenue and Performance Director, take a closer look at the latest July figures and what they're actually telling us about the market.

## Dubai Property Market Momentum Returns

July recorded AED 32.7 billion in total sales value, up 3% month on month. While the year-on-year figures show a significant decline, Paul and Daniel explain why these numbers need to be looked at in context, with transactions typically taking 12 to 16 weeks to complete.
More importantly, secondary sales volume increased by 17% month on month, suggesting that confidence and activity are starting to return to the market.
The conversation looks at what this means for buyers, sellers and investors, and whether the stronger activity we're seeing on the ground could continue into Q3 and Q4.

## Commercial Property Continues To Perform
One of the standout figures from July was the 55% year-on-year increase in average office sale prices.

With continued demand from businesses, family offices and international companies setting up in Dubai, commercial property remains an area to watch. The discussion also looks at the wider infrastructure investment happening across the city and what continued expansion could mean for Dubai's long-term growth.

## More Choice In The Rental Market
The rental market is changing too.

With 4,782 units delivered in July, up 51% year on year, tenants are starting to see more choice. Lettings listings were also up 71% compared with February, while rental viewings increased by 15%.

For landlords, the message is clear: pricing and flexibility matter. With more options available, tenants have greater negotiating power and landlords need to make their properties competitive.

## What Happens Next?
From changing buyer behaviour and the luxury market to Dubai's continued expansion, Paul and Daniel break down the numbers while sharing what they're seeing first-hand across the business.

With the summer coming to an end and activity typically picking up in September and October, the big question is whether Dubai is heading for a stronger end to 2026.

Dubai Property Market July 2026: Is the Market Turning?

Making the move into Dubai real estate can feel like a huge leap, especially if it means leaving behind the security of a salaried role.

In the latest episode of Keys to the City, Kameron Hutchinson, Director of Strategic Talent Acquisition here at Allsopp & Allsopp, sits down with Property Consultant Richard Agyeyang to discuss exactly that. From taking a chance on a commission-only career to becoming one of the leading agents in Dubai South, Richard shares the lessons, mindset and habits that helped him build a successful career in real estate.

## Leaving Comfort Behind
Before joining Allsopp & Allsopp, Richard worked in media sales. While it offered stability, he knew he wanted more control over his career and earning potential.

Making the switch into real estate wasn't an easy decision. Like many agents starting out, there were financial pressures and plenty of uncertainty. But by fully committing to the opportunity, Richard was able to build a career that offered both professional growth and personal freedom.
It's an honest conversation about what it really takes to succeed in Dubai's competitive property market.

## Becoming the Expert in Dubai South
One of the biggest turning points in Richard's career came when he chose to specialise in Dubai South.

Rather than trying to cover every community, he identified an area with huge potential and focused on becoming the local expert. By offering genuine advice backed by market knowledge, Richard built trust with clients and established himself as a go-to consultant in the area.

It's a reminder that success in real estate isn't about knowing everything. It's about knowing your market better than anyone else.

## Why Personal Branding Matters
Kameron and Richard also discuss the role social media has played in building Richard's business.

Like many people, he was initially hesitant about putting himself online. But he quickly realised that consistency and visibility were essential for growing his network and staying front of mind with potential clients.

Sharing his journey not only helped reconnect him with previous contacts but also allowed new clients to get to know him before they ever made an enquiry.

## Why Collaboration Creates Better Results
Another key takeaway from the episode is the importance of teamwork.

Rather than viewing other agents as competition, Richard explains how collaborating with colleagues has helped him grow faster and deliver a better experience for clients. Within the Dubai South team at Allsopp & Allsopp, sharing knowledge and supporting one another has become a major part of their success.

## Advice For Anyone Considering Real Estate in Dubai
For anyone thinking about making the move into Dubai real estate, Richard's message is simple: don't let fear hold you back.

Success won't happen overnight, but with consistency, resilience and a strong work ethic, the opportunities are there for those willing to put in the effort.

The Career Move That Changed His Life

If you’ve spent any time reading international news recently, you’ve probably seen plenty of headlines questioning what’s happening in the Middle East and whether it’s impacting life in Dubai.

But what’s the reality on the ground?

That’s exactly what Kameron Hutchinson, Director of Strategic Talent Acquisition, and Marc Walters, Managing Director, unpacked in the latest episode of Allsopp on Air. No sensational headlines, no speculation, just an honest conversation about what’s really happening in Dubai and what people should know before making the move.

## Looking Beyond the Headlines
One of the biggest topics discussed was perception versus reality.

While international headlines can often create uncertainty, Marc and Kameron shared their experiences of living and working in Dubai during recent events. Their message was simple: Dubai remains a highly organised, well-managed city, with clear communication and strong infrastructure that has allowed day-to-day life and business to continue as normal.

For anyone considering relocating, investing or building a career here, understanding the reality on the ground is far more valuable than relying solely on headlines from abroad.

## Is Dubai’s Property Market Still Strong?
Short answer: yes.

The conversation also explored the current state of Dubai’s real estate market and whether momentum has slowed. While the market has naturally evolved, activity remains strong, particularly at the luxury end of the market.

Dubai continues to attract investors, businesses and professionals from around the world, and that demand is still driving opportunities across the sector.

## Success in Dubai Requires Commitment
Another key takeaway was that Dubai isn’t a place where you can dip your toe in and expect immediate results.

Whether you’re moving here for real estate or another industry entirely, commitment matters. Success comes from embracing the lifestyle, understanding the culture and being prepared to put in the work.

Dubai offers huge opportunities, but like any competitive market, those opportunities tend to favour the people who arrive with the right mindset and a willingness to adapt.

## Thinking About Making the Move?
For anyone considering relocating to Dubai, Kameron and Marc had one consistent piece of advice: do your research.

Understand the market, set realistic expectations and learn what life here actually looks like. The more prepared you are, the better positioned you’ll be to make the most of the opportunities available.

## The Reality of Dubai
This episode wasn’t about selling a dream. It was about providing context, sharing first-hand experiences and giving listeners an honest look at what life and business in Dubai are really like.

Because when you look beyond the headlines, you can make decisions based on facts, not assumptions.

The Reality Behind the Headlines in Dubai

In the latest episode of Keys to the City, Kameron Hutchinson sits down with Barbora Marcinkova to discuss her journey from a small town in Slovakia to becoming one of Dubai's leading luxury real estate advisors.

From relocating across the world to learning a completely new property market, Barbora shares the experiences that have shaped her career, the lessons she's learned along the way and why building long-term relationships is at the heart of success in Dubai real estate.

## From Slovakia to Dubai's Luxury Property Market
Like many professionals working in Dubai real estate, Barbora's journey wasn't straightforward.

Before establishing herself in Dubai's luxury property market, she built valuable experience overseas, working in Sydney's premium real estate sector. While that gave her a strong foundation, moving to Dubai meant adapting to a market unlike any other.

The pace, the scale and the way transactions are managed all required a fresh approach. Throughout the episode, Barbora explains how embracing change became one of her biggest strengths.

## Why Adaptability Matters in Dubai Real Estate
Dubai's property market moves quickly, and no two clients have the same requirements.

Barbora explains why being adaptable is one of the most important qualities for anyone working in Dubai real estate. Whether she's advising first-time international buyers or ultra-high-net-worth investors, every conversation, negotiation and transaction requires a different approach.

It's this ability to understand people, rather than simply property, that has helped her build lasting relationships throughout her career.

## Rejection Doesn't Mean the Opportunity Has Gone
One of the most honest moments in the conversation comes when Barbora reflects on initially turning down the opportunity to join Allsopp & Allsopp.

As Kameron Hutchinson explains, hearing "not right now" isn't always what recruiters want to hear, but timing matters.

Looking back, Barbora believes waiting until the move felt right allowed her to fully commit when the opportunity came around again, proving that one rejection doesn't necessarily mean the end of the conversation.

## Building a Career in Dubai Luxury Real Estate
Working in Dubai luxury real estate is about much more than selling high-value homes.

Throughout the podcast, Barbora talks about the importance of trust, communication and understanding every client's individual goals. While Dubai's luxury property market continues to attract buyers and investors from around the world, she believes the agents who succeed are the ones who focus on relationships first.

That client-first approach has helped her build a reputation within one of the world's most competitive real estate markets.
A New Chapter with Allsopp & Allsopp Private Office

The episode also explores Barbora's move into Allsopp & Allsopp's Private Office, the division specialising in Dubai's ultra-luxury property market.
Representing some of the city's most exclusive homes requires a highly personalised service, market expertise and complete discretion. For Barbora, it's a natural progression and an opportunity to provide an even more tailored experience for buyers and sellers at the top end of the market.

She Rejected Our Recruiter... 7 Months Later She Joined Us

How has Dubai's property market performed in the first half of 2026, and what could the next six months look like?

In the latest episode of Allsopp On Air, Managing Director Marc Walters is joined by Operations Director Paul Kelly and Revenue and Performance Director Daniel Moloney to break down the biggest trends shaping the Dubai real estate market. From transaction numbers and investor confidence to commercial opportunities and what's still to come this year, the team shares their perspective on where the market stands today.

## How the Dubai Real Estate Market Performed in H1 2026
The first half of the year proved that Dubai's property market continues to show resilience.
Despite geopolitical uncertainty affecting markets around the world, Dubai recorded close to 79,000 property transactions in H1, with 71% of registrations coming from the off-plan market. While the record-breaking pace seen at the start of the year slowed slightly, the panel explains why this shouldn't be viewed as a negative.

Instead, they discuss how the Dubai real estate market has matured, becoming more stable and better equipped to respond to external events than in previous years.

## Why the Dubai Property Market Continues to Attract Investors
One of the key talking points throughout the episode is confidence.
Marc, Paul and Daniel discuss why the Dubai property market continues to attract investors, end users and businesses from around the world. Government initiatives, continued population growth and long-term planning have all helped create an environment where demand remains strong.
The conversation also explores how businesses, including Allsopp & Allsopp, have adapted quickly to changing market conditions, ensuring clients continue to receive the right advice regardless of market fluctuations.

## Dubai Real Estate Market Outlook for H2 2026
Looking ahead, the team remains optimistic about the second half of the year.
Historically, Dubai has seen activity increase towards the end of the year, and the directors discuss whether a similar pattern could emerge again. They also touch on developers becoming more strategic with new project launches and how that could help maintain healthy demand across the market.
Rather than chasing short-term growth, the discussion focuses on sustainable expansion and why that's ultimately better for buyers, sellers and investors alike.
## Why Dubai Commercial Property Is Still in High Demand
The conversation isn't limited to residential real estate.
Paul highlights the continued demand for quality commercial space across Dubai, discussing how new developments could help address the shortage of premium office stock.
As more international businesses establish themselves in the emirate, Dubai commercial property continues to present opportunities for both occupiers and investors.
## What Current Dubai Property Market Trends Mean for Buyers and Investors
Another interesting topic covered in the episode is the rental market.
The team explains why recent adjustments in rental prices shouldn't necessarily be viewed negatively. Instead, a more balanced market creates greater long-term sustainability, helping Dubai remain attractive to both new residents and existing homeowners.
Combined with supportive government policies and continued infrastructure investment, the directors believe the Dubai property market is well positioned for future growth.

THE H1 TWIST NOBODY EXPECTED.jpg

The Truth About Dubai's Property Market in 2026 So Far

Success in Dubai real estate rarely happens overnight.

It takes consistency, resilience and a willingness to keep learning. In the latest episode of Allsopp on Air, our Managing Director, Marc Walters, sits down with Associate Director Charlie Jasper to talk about the realities of building a career in one of the world's most competitive property markets.

From life in Dubai and the importance of community knowledge to handling rejection and using social media the right way, the conversation offers an honest look at what it takes to succeed.

## From Brighton Nightlife to Dubai Real Estate
Before real estate, Charlie was working in Brighton's nightlife industry as a promoter.

While it might seem like a world away from property, the role gave him something that's invaluable in real estate: people skills.

Building relationships, understanding personalities and communicating with confidence are all skills that transfer naturally into the property industry.
Charlie joined Allsopp & Allsopp in leasing on Palm Jumeirah before moving into Emirates Living, where he has established himself as one of the area's leading agents.

His journey is proof that previous experience doesn't have to come from property to build a successful real estate career.

## Learning to Handle the Highs and Lows
One of the biggest themes throughout the conversation is resilience.

Every broker experiences deals falling through, difficult conversations and periods where nothing seems to go your way. The difference is learning how to deal with those moments and keep moving forward.

Charlie talks openly about how experience has helped him become more resilient and how having clear goals, good mentors and the right support network has played a huge role in his progression.

It's an honest reminder that success in Dubai real estate is built over time, not overnight.

## Buying a Home in Dubai
Another milestone Charlie reflects on is buying his own home.

Making that commitment during a challenging period in his career wasn't easy, but it became one of the biggest motivators for pushing himself even further.

It's another example of why so many people working in Dubai property choose to invest here themselves. Spending every day helping clients buy homes naturally gives you confidence in the long-term opportunities the market offers.

## Is Social Media Changing Real Estate?
Social media has become a huge part of modern real estate.

From showcasing listings to building a personal brand, platforms like Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn have opened up new ways for brokers to connect with clients.

But Charlie also shares an important reminder.

Social media should support your business, not replace the fundamentals.

Understanding your community, building relationships, picking up the phone and becoming an expert in your area will always be the foundation of a successful real estate career.

## Advice for New Brokers
If you're starting out in Dubai real estate, Charlie's advice is refreshingly simple.

Get out into your community.

Walk the streets. Visit every building. Learn every villa type. Understand the schools, cafés, parks and lifestyle that make each area unique.
The agents who know their communities inside out are the ones clients trust.

Pair that with structure, consistency and a willingness to learn from those around you, and you'll build the foundations for long-term success.

## Looking Ahead
Having recently been promoted to Associate Director, Charlie's focus is firmly on what's next.

Like many of the team at Allsopp & Allsopp, his ambition doesn't stop with one promotion. His sights are set on continuing to grow, developing his team and ultimately achieving the Partner title.

It's a reflection of the culture at Allsopp & Allsopp, where progression is earned through hard work, performance and a commitment to continually improving.

From Al Barari to Lunaya: Nadia Zaal's Vision for Dubai

In the latest episode of Allsopp on Air, Managing Director Marc Walters is joined by Dayle Hallam, Founder of Menathon, for an honest and important conversation about men's mental health, resilience and why building strong support networks has never been more important.

Recorded during Men's Mental Health Month, the episode explores the challenges many men face when it comes to speaking openly, while highlighting the life-changing impact that community, connection and vulnerability can have.

## Breaking the Stigma Around Men's Mental Health

Throughout the conversation, Marc and Dayle discuss why so many men still struggle to ask for help and how outdated perceptions around masculinity continue to prevent honest conversations.

Drawing from his own experiences, Dayle shares the personal challenges that inspired him to create Menathon, a community dedicated to bringing men together through fitness, conversation and mutual support. His story is a powerful reminder that strength isn't about facing life's challenges alone - it's about knowing when to lean on those around you.

## The Importance of Community

One of the strongest themes throughout the episode is the value of surrounding yourself with the right people.

Marc and Dayle explore how meaningful friendships, regular social interaction and physical activity can play a significant role in improving mental wellbeing. Whether it's meeting for a walk, joining a fitness session or simply checking in with a friend, they discuss how small actions can make a lasting difference.

The conversation also highlights the impact Menathon has had in creating a space where men can connect without judgement, encouraging conversations that may never have happened otherwise.

## Changing the Conversation

The episode also touches on the influence of social media and the pressure it can place on mental health.

Marc and Dayle discuss the importance of looking beyond the highlight reels we see online and focusing instead on personal growth, genuine relationships and individual progress. Rather than comparing ourselves to others, they encourage listeners to define success on their own terms and prioritise what truly matters.

As Menathon continues to grow, Dayle shares his vision for expanding the initiative into new communities while staying true to its mission of creating safe spaces for men to connect, support one another and improve their mental wellbeing.

His ambition reflects a wider movement towards normalising conversations around mental health and ensuring that support is accessible to those who need it most.

## A Conversation That Matters

This episode of Allsopp on Air is an honest reminder that vulnerability is not weakness and that no one should have to face life's challenges alone.

Whether you're looking for inspiration, practical advice or simply reassurance that you're not the only one navigating difficult times, Marc and Dayle's conversation offers valuable insights into the importance of resilience, connection and speaking openly about mental health.

Men's Mental Health Month: Overcoming the Deepest Depths of Men’s Mental Health

At first glance, Dubai Land Department (DLD) figures for May painted a fairly subdued picture, with transaction values and volumes both showing month-on-month declines. But as discussed by Operations Director Paul Kelly and Revenue and Performance Director Daniel Moloney on this month's market update podcast, the reality on the ground tells a very different story.

One of the most important things to remember when looking at DLD data is that it reflects transactions at the point of transfer, often weeks or even months after a deal was originally agreed. As a result, May's figures are largely representative of decisions being made during periods of global uncertainty earlier in the year, rather than the sentiment we're seeing from buyers and sellers today.

## Villas and Townhouses Continue to Lead the Market
Perhaps the standout trend from May was the continued strength of the villa and townhouse sector.

Across Allsopp & Allsopp's sales business, transaction volumes for villas and townhouses increased by 124% month-on-month, highlighting the sustained demand for larger homes and family-focused communities.

The appetite for family living remains one of the defining characteristics of Dubai's residential market in 2026.

## The Entry-Level Market Remains Active
The market is also seeing strong activity in the AED 3M to AED 5M price bracket, a segment that continues to attract first-time buyers and families looking to establish long-term roots in Dubai.

Search data shows that 79% of buyer enquiries are focused on properties below AED 5M, demonstrating the depth of demand at the more accessible end of the ownership market. This is a positive indicator for overall market health, reflecting continued population growth and confidence from residents choosing to invest in Dubai rather than rent.

## Rental Demand Continues to Grow
The lettings market delivered another strong performance in May, with viewing numbers increasing by 19% compared to April.

Villa and townhouse rentals were again a major contributor, accounting for more than half of the total lettings value achieved during the month. Continued demand from relocating families, coupled with limited supply in some key communities, is helping to maintain momentum across the rental market.

## Confidence Returns to the Mortgage Market
Another encouraging sign is the growing confidence among lenders.

After adopting a more cautious approach earlier in the year, banks have begun increasing loan-to-value ratios once again, making finance more accessible for buyers. This shift typically reflects confidence in both market stability and future performance, further supporting transaction activity across the sales market.

While headline DLD figures may suggest a slower market, the data being seen day-to-day tells a different story.

Buyer demand remains strong, family-focused communities continue to perform exceptionally well, rental activity is increasing and lenders are showing renewed confidence. Combined with continued population growth and stable pricing across many areas, the fundamentals supporting Dubai's property market remain firmly in place.

As we move into the summer months, all indicators point towards continued momentum rather than slowdown, reinforcing Dubai's position as one of the world's most active and resilient real estate markets.

The Truth About May.jpg

Dubai Property Market Update: What the May Data Really Shows

## How Do You Start a Career in Dubai Real Estate With No Experience?
In the latest episode of Allsopp On Air, Managing Director Marc Walters sits down with newly promoted Associate Director Matthew Kaye to discuss what it really takes to build a successful career in Dubai real estate.

From working as a holiday rep across Europe to closing multi-million-dirham property deals in Dubai, Matty’s journey is built on resilience, consistency, and hard work.

The conversation gives a real behind-the-scenes look at the industry - from surviving the difficult first year in Dubai real estate to building a personal brand through social media and progressing to Associate Director at Allsopp & Allsopp.

## What Was Matthew Kaye Doing Before Dubai Real Estate?
Before entering the property industry, Matty grew up in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, before later moving to North Lincolnshire during his school years.

From a young age, he was always focused on earning money and developing a strong work ethic. During the podcast, he speaks about selling sweets in school and washing cars on weekends before eventually paying younger kids on the estate to help him manage more jobs.

Before moving to Dubai, Matty spent years working abroad as a holiday rep in destinations across Europe.

That experience would later prove hugely valuable in real estate.

Working in customer-facing sales environments, dealing with rejection daily, and communicating with people from different backgrounds helped prepare him for life in Dubai real estate - a market built around international buyers and sellers.

## Is Dubai Real Estate Hard When You First Start?
One of the biggest topics discussed in the episode is the reality of starting real estate in Dubai.

Matty arrived in Dubai in October 2020 during the uncertainty of COVID after being made redundant from his previous role in the travel industry.
Like many brokers starting in Dubai, the early months were difficult, he openly explains how he was the last person in his starter group to close a deal and how challenging it can be watching your savings slowly disappear while trying to establish yourself in a commission-only environment.

The episode gives a very honest insight into the pressure new brokers face when starting in Dubai real estate, particularly during uncertain market conditions.

Marc also discusses how the brokers who succeed long-term are often the ones willing to remain disciplined, stay later than everyone else, and continue working even when results are not immediate.

## How Important Is Handling Rejection in Sales?
Throughout the conversation, both Marc and Matty discuss how learning to deal with rejection is one of the most important skills in real estate sales.
Before Dubai, Matty worked face-to-face sales roles promoting events and experiences while working abroad. Speaking to people on the streets every day gave him thick skin and taught him how to stay motivated despite constant rejection.

That mindset became critical once he entered Dubai real estate, where persistence and consistency often separate successful brokers from everyone else.

## How Do Successful Dubai Real Estate Brokers Build Their Network?
Another major topic covered in the podcast is the importance of surrounding yourself with experienced people.

Matty credits several people within Allsopp & Allsopp for helping shape his career, particularly Dan Moloney and his colleague Sheree, who he describes as a huge influence throughout his journey.

The discussion highlights how important mentorship, learning from experienced agents, and being around high-performing brokers can be when building a long-term career in Dubai real estate.

## Can Social Media Generate Real Estate Leads in Dubai?
One of the standout parts of the episode focuses on social media and personal branding within Dubai real estate.

Over the last year, Matty has built a strong online presence by creating informative videos about the Dubai property market, JBR, Dubai Marina, restaurants, lifestyle, and buyer insights.

Rather than focusing purely on luxury property tours, his content strategy has been built around providing useful information people genuinely search for.

That approach directly led to his biggest deal to date. During the podcast, Matty explains how a Facebook lead generated through his social media content eventually resulted in a major property transaction.

The conversation highlights how social media is rapidly becoming one of the most powerful tools for brokers in Dubai real estate looking to build trust, visibility, and long-term opportunities.

## What Does Associate Director Mean in Dubai Real Estate?
Recently promoted to Associate Director at Allsopp & Allsopp, Matty explains why the achievement represents far more than simply a title change.
For him, it reflects years of consistency, pressure, setbacks, and progression inside the business.

The promotion also opens the door to working across wider areas of Dubai real estate, including off-plan property and larger-scale opportunities throughout the market.

Marc describes the promotion as fully earned, recognising both Matty’s work ethic and the growth he has shown over the last five years.

## What Is Happening in the Dubai Property Market Right Now?
The episode also explores the current state of the Dubai real estate market and how brokers are adapting to changing conditions.

Matty explains how agents are currently having to work harder, communicate more closely with sellers, and focus on identifying genuinely motivated clients.

Despite uncertainty in the market, activity levels remain strong across Dubai, with buyers still actively viewing and purchasing property when pricing is positioned correctly.

The discussion gives a realistic front-line view of how experienced brokers are navigating today’s market conditions.

## What Advice Would Successful Dubai Brokers Give New Agents?
Towards the end of the episode, Matty shares advice for anyone considering a move into Dubai real estate.

His message is simple:

Be the hardest worker in the room.

Stay consistent, learn from experienced people, remain patient during difficult periods, and focus on improving year after year.
The episode is a strong reminder that success in Dubai real estate rarely happens overnight - but with resilience, adaptability, and the right mindset, long-term growth is possible.

MARC MATT Thumbnail V2.jpg

From Holiday Rep to Associate Director in Dubai Real Estate

## Dubai Real Estate Market Update 2026
In this episode, Managing Director Marc Walters, Performance and Revenue Director Daniel Moloney, and Chairman Lewis Allsopp break down what is really happening in the Dubai real estate market right now, beyond the headlines and data.

This is a ground-level view of how the market is performing, how buyer behaviour has shifted, and how leading brokerages are adapting in real time.

## Is Dubai Real Estate Slowing Down?
The conversation opens with the early impact of recent geopolitical tension and how it temporarily affected confidence across the Dubai property market.

The team discusses how quickly sentiment shifted, how buyers paused decisions, and why the real issue was not demand disappearing - but confidence being disrupted.

## Is Dubai Real Estate a Buyer’s Market in 2026?
Dan explains the clear shift towards a more buyer-led market, where decision cycles are longer and negotiations are more complex.

Agents are no longer operating in a fast FOMO environment - instead, they are dealing with more cautious buyers who require education, trust-building, and structured negotiation strategies.

## Dubai Property Market Forecast
Lewis provides a macro view on why Dubai continues to outperform globally, highlighting infrastructure, government responsiveness, and long-term planning as key drivers of confidence.

Despite short-term volatility, the long-term Dubai property market forecast remains strongly supported by ongoing investment and global demand.
Why Exclusivity Matters When Selling Property in Dubai

Marc and Dan break down why exclusivity has become more important than ever in the current Dubai real estate market.

With fewer active buyers and longer sales cycles, multi-agency listings often lead to diluted pricing, inconsistent messaging, and weaker negotiation outcomes.

A controlled, single-agency strategy is now seen as essential for protecting value.

## The Truth About Dubai Real Estate Headlines
The discussion also looks at what the real data is showing behind the scenes - including shifts in viewings, transactions, and lead generation versus headline figures that can be skewed by off-plan activity.

The key takeaway: the Dubai real estate market has not stopped - it has normalised and become more selective.

## How Dubai Real Estate Agents Are Adapting in a Changing Market
The episode highlights how internal teams have responded, from junior agents stepping up and closing their first deals, to increased training and tighter structure across the business.

This section shows how real estate performance is being driven by discipline, not just market momentum.

## Is Dubai Real Estate Still a Good Investment?
Even in a slower cycle, the conversation reinforces that opportunity still exists in Dubai property - particularly for long-term investors who understand timing, value, and negotiation leverage.

The key difference now is selectivity: better deals are available, but they require better positioning.

## What Is Really Happening in the Dubai Property Market
This episode goes beyond surface-level commentary and provides a real-time view of how leadership, structure, and execution determine performance in a shifting market.

While headlines may suggest uncertainty, the reality is more nuanced - Dubai real estate is evolving, not declining, and the businesses that adapt fastest will continue to outperform.

The Reality Behind the Headlines in Dubai Real Estate

In the latest episode of Allsopp on Air, Managing Director Marc Walters sits down with Senior Sales Consultant Michael Kempton for an honest conversation about what it really looks like to operate in Dubai real estate during periods of uncertainty.

From navigating client emotions to adapting sales strategies in real time, the episode gives a behind-the-scenes look at how experienced brokers respond when the market shifts.

## “The Market Didn’t Stop - Buyers Just Changed”
One of the biggest talking points throughout the episode was how quickly buyer behaviour evolved over recent weeks.

Michael explains that rather than rushing into deals, many buyers initially took a pause to assess the wider situation.
Instead of pushing transactions forward, his focus became understanding exactly where clients stood and helping them make informed decisions at the right time.

That measured approach proved important. While activity slowed temporarily, serious buyers never fully disappeared, they simply became more cautious and selective.

## Why Relationships Matter in Dubai Real Estate
A recurring theme throughout the conversation was trust.

Michael shares how long-term relationships and transparent communication became more valuable than ever during uncertain periods. Clients weren’t looking for pressure, they were looking for guidance, honesty, and someone who understood the market well enough to advise them properly.

Marc highlights that this approach is something consistently seen across the company’s top-performing brokers: strong relationships tend to outperform short-term sales tactics, especially when the market becomes unpredictable.

## Why Al Barari Continues to Stand Out in Dubai’s Villa Market
The conversation also turns to one of Dubai’s most unique villa communities: Al Barari.

Michael explains that even during slower market periods, the community continues to attract attention because it offers something fundamentally different to much of Dubai’s residential landscape. The greenery, privacy, and lower-density environment continue to appeal to buyers looking for a lifestyle-led purchase rather than simply another property investment.

Importantly, sellers within the community largely maintained confidence in long-term values, reinforcing the resilience seen across Dubai’s premium villa market.

## Dubai Property Market Pricing Strategies During Uncertainty
Another key insight from the episode was pricing strategy.

Rather than reacting emotionally to short-term uncertainty, Michael discusses the importance of staying realistic while still protecting value for sellers. Asking prices largely remained stable, but negotiations became increasingly important as buyers looked for opportunities.

It reflects a wider trend seen across the Dubai market over recent months. While transaction volumes may fluctuate temporarily, quality properties continue to generate interest when priced and positioned correctly.

## Why Collaboration Creates Better Dubai Real Estate Brokers
Marc and Michael also discuss the importance of collaboration within the industry.

Sharing market insight, learning from top performers, and adapting quickly to changing conditions all play a major role in long-term success. Michael speaks openly about refining his own approach by observing what works across the wider team and remaining adaptable as the market evolves.

In a fast-moving market like Dubai, the ability to adjust quickly often becomes one of the biggest competitive advantages.

Despite recent uncertainty, both Marc and Michael remain optimistic about Dubai real estate moving forward.

Dubai has consistently shown resilience through changing market cycles, and while buyer behaviour may shift in the short term, demand for quality property and strong communities continues to remain.

The key takeaway from the episode is clear: activity creates opportunity. Brokers who remain proactive, communicative, and adaptable are often the ones best positioned when momentum returns.

Whether you’re actively buying, selling, or simply watching the market, the conversation offers a valuable look into how experienced brokers navigate uncertainty while continuing to deliver for clients.

AL BARARI THUMBNAIL V6.jpg

What Eight Weeks of Uncertainty Taught Dubai’s Top Brokers

What does it really take to become a Partner at one of Dubai’s leading real estate brokerages?

In this week’s Taking Care of Business, Lewis Allsopp sits down with newly promoted Partner, Daniel Perry, to unpack that journey and the mindset behind it.

## Becoming a Real Estate Agent in Dubai: Career Insights
Dan’s path into real estate didn’t begin in property, he started in hospitality, working long hours across the city. When COVID hit and the industry came to a sudden stop, it forced a rethink of what came next. With uncertainty around his role and timing working against him, he made the decision to step into real estate, drawn by both necessity and the opportunity he saw in front of him.

Five years later, that decision has taken him from complete newcomer to Partner at Allsopp & Allsopp in record breaking time and one of the company’s consistent top performers.

## How to Succeed in Dubai’s Property Market
What comes through clearly in the conversation is the mindset behind that progression. Dan speaks about being very goal-driven, setting targets at the start of each year and breaking them down into smaller, more manageable steps across quarters, constantly reviewing and adjusting along the way. There is a strong emphasis on staying active, staying focused, and deliberately avoiding comfort, particularly in a market like Dubai where pace and performance are everything.

Competition is another consistent theme in his story. Early on, Dan found himself working in the same area as some of the company’s top-performing agents. Rather than being discouraged by that, it became something that pushed him forward. Over time, that competitive edge developed into mutual respect, but it played a key role in shaping his early growth.

The conversation also highlights how important an environment is in real estate. Being surrounded by other driven individuals, hearing deals being done, and staying close to the market on a daily basis all contribute to performance. Success in this industry is rarely built in isolation, and Dan’s experience reflects that reality.

## What It’s Like Working in Dubai Real Estate at a Leading Brokerage
Alongside performance, there is also a strong focus on long-term thinking. Like many successful agents in Dubai, Dan has used his earnings to invest in property, both locally and internationally. From flipping homes in Dubai to purchasing in London, his approach has been about turning short-term success into long-term security.

There is also honesty when reflecting on the earlier parts of his career. Before joining Allsopp & Allsopp, Dan experienced uncertainty, financial pressure, and moments where staying in Dubai and continuing in the industry felt far from guaranteed. Those challenges, while difficult at the time, became a key part of building resilience and shaping his approach to work.

Becoming a Partner at Allsopp & Allsopp is not simply a milestone based on time served. It reflects consistent performance, sustained output, and the ability to operate at a high level over a long period. Dan’s journey is a clear example of that standard being met.

While this promotion marks an important moment in his career, the conversation makes it clear that it is not an endpoint, but simply the next stage of a much longer journey.
